  At ESC Outside, we do more than guide hiking trips—we immerse ourselves in the untamed spirit of the Western and Southwestern United States. Our hiking itineraries deliver the best of both worlds: comfort and unrivaled beauty. With nothing more than a light daypack, you’ll explore dramatic mountains, awe inspiring valleys, beautiful coastlines and then return each afternoon to a shower, wonderful dinner and comfortable bed. 

  ESC Outside works hard to ensure the hikes we provide are within the capabilities of the clients we host. What we ask is that you are physically prepared to do the miles on the trip scheduled. With that we provide training plans to help you prepare for your trip. Additionally, we provide a list of clothing and gear you may need for your trip.
