ESC Outside is made up of a diverse group of passionate educators, environmental stewards, and accomplished professionals. Our team has either lived here their whole lives or gravitated to Tucson from all over the country to pursue a life in the outdoors and perfect their craft. All while having a lot of fun sharing their knowledge and experience along the way.

OUR PATHS
Surrounded by four mountain ranges: the Catalina, Rincon, Santa Rita and Tucson Mountain’s, north, south, east and west respectively and over 150 hiking trails, Tucson has endless opportunities to get out and experience nature first-hand. Whether hiking in Saguaro National Park with a starting elevation of 2,180 feet or in the Catalina Mountains of the Coronado National Forest at 9,000 feet, you are a few steps or short drive away from access to great trails and beautiful views.

ESC guided day hikes make excellent day trips for visitors staying in the Tucson area. Our Sabino Canyon hikes are a popular, half-day of hiking with access to multiple trails. For those seeking more adventure, along with the hikes we offer around the Tucson Valley, we offer several trips around the Western US. Whether this is your very first-time or you’re an experienced hiker, have an entire day or just a few hours, we have a variety of hiking trails and adventures waiting for you.
